Tee Assignments:
Men will play the BLUE tee markers
Women will play the ORANGE tee markers
Format: Fourball Stroke Play (2 person best ball)
Max 8 Shot Spread between partners handicaps
Players receive 90% of their course handicap
Local Rules:
USGA Rules will govern all play today with the following exceptions:
- All bodies of water are red penalty areas Rule 17-1.
- If a ball strikes any elevated power line or poll, the stroke is canceled and the player MUST play a ball as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played, as prescribed in Model Local Rule E-11.
- Out of Bounds is defined by white stakes and white lines
- Sprinklers near putting surfaces will receive free relief per rule 16 abnormal course condition.
- The immovable obstruction (sprinkler head) must be on or within two club-lengths of the putting green; the immovable obstruction must be within two club-lengths of the ball; and the immovable obstruction must intervene on the line of play between the ball and the hole.
- Local Rule B-2.1: Relief on Opposite side of red penalty area is in play for this round.
- E-4 Relief from Aeration Holes
“If a player’s ball lies in or touches an aeration hole:
(a) Ball in General Area. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b. If the ball comes to rest in another aeration hole the player may take relief again under this Local Rule.
(b) Ball on Putting Green. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1d.
But interference does not exist if the aeration hole only interferes with the player’s stance or, on the putting green, on the player’s line of play.
- Pace of Play:
- Our overall tournament pace will be 4 hours 48 minutes! No exceptions. You are allowed 16 minutes per hole. After your first warning, you and your group will be put on the clock.
